Je to taková "pocitová gangsterka". Mladej 20ti letej kluk přijede do New Yourku, kde se přidá k dvojici dvou stejně starých zkušených gangsterů. Nejsou to žádné velké ryby, ale žijí si vlastním životem, vykrádají obchody, prodávají zmrzlinu obsahující pervitin, tím jsou také neustále sjetí, sní o lepším a bohatším životě apod. Je až neuvěřitelné, jak silně pocitové a emoční scény film předkládá a že ať chceme nebo nechceme, musíme k těmto antihrdinům cítit velmi silné sympatie ... Z hlavního hrdiny se během filmu stává z naprostého nekňuby životem otesaný mladík, který se nikoho a ničeho nebojí, ze všech má srandu a nic nebere vážně ... Finále je drsně vygradované a samotný závěr na letišti v Tokiu až neuvěřitelně dojemný... Celé je to vlastně o hledání sama sebe a o přerodu chlapce v muže na pozadí života pouličních gangů. Sion Sono umí a dokázal mi to i tímto svým starším flickem.
